I lost my return package. What should I do?

Please proceed to the closest post office and purchase a prepaid package called "Yu Packet 360" or "Yu Packet 510", and send back all of your rental items to the address below:

What if I lose the Benri Wifi?
You will be charged for compensation fee.

The password I entered says it is incorrect, is there something wrong?
Please turn off the Benri Wifi unit and carefully slide the back cover open and take out the batteries. You should then find the WPA key (or WEP key in some cases) on the silver sticker. Please try that key as a password.

I can't send emails with the Benri Wifi, can you please help me?
Our provider implements Outbound Port 25 Blocking.
You should be able to send emails if you change the sending port number.
My Benri Wifi doesn't charge, what should I do?
Please carefully slide and remove the back lid and take out the battery inside, then put them back on. It would also help if you could try a different USB cable if you have one.

FAQ

What does the return date mean?
It is the day you are required to post the device back to us. You can simply drop it in any post box in Japan. You do not have to worry about how long it will take to get to us as long as you post it back in time. We request that you do so by midnight on that date.
How good is the coverage?
Covering 94% of the population, most of the populated areas (cities, towns) in Japan have coverage. However, coverage for very remote areas cannot be guaranteed. In addition, the communication network uses the largest share of domestic coverage.

Is Benri Wifi unlimited data?
Yes. You can use it indefinitely within the rental fee.
Do I have to pay for return?
No, you don't have to. We will provide you a prepaid return package.
What happens if I use up my data allowance?
The speed will be restricted until the end of your rental.
How do I check data usage for my Benri Wifi 4G model?

We can check it upon your request via email.
But we recommend you to use a usage tracking app to track your data usage on your end. Here are a couple of data usage tracking apps we recommend.

Can I use it outside of Japan?
No, it does not work outside of Japan.
Can it be charged via USB?
Yes. Benri Wifi uses micro USB and comes with a micro USB cable.
Does the Benri Wifi include a SIM card inside? Or do I have to buy one?
It comes with a SIM card inside.
How do I set up the Benri Wifi?
It's just like using any other WiFi network. You just select the network (SSID) and enter the password we provide along with the device.

How long does the battery last?
It varies greatly depending on the frequency of use and period of use of the device. For continuous communication, use for 5 hours is a standard
How many devices can it connect at the same time?
Up to 10 units at the maximum.
Is it possible to extend my rental period?
Yes, it is possible to extend it unless we are fully booked. The extra fee will be calculated based on your original daily rental rate.
Does it work at sea?
No, we cannot guarantee it'll work at sea.
